Tim currently teaches guitar lessons at The Music Workshop in Berwyn and also privately in his home studio. The music created by their company via Joe Tarsia’s Sigma Sound Studio was certainly an identifiable and unique sound of the time incorporating lush arrangements, bongo-driven intros, lavish string components and of course with the backing voices of the Sweethearts of Sigma, MFSB’s skills were allowed to breathe fully.

Upon relocating back to Philadelphia in 2018, Tim picked up where he left off by reconnecting with award-winning gospel producer and keyboardist, Dana Sorey, grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, Ben O’Neill, songstress Taylor Kelly and soul/pop outfit, Remember Jones. The Philadelphia Historical Commission voted unanimously on Friday to designate the former recording studio at 210-212 N. In the 1970s, the Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia was legendary for shaping the Philly Sound lushly arranged funk and R&B for which the city was famous. With over 300 loops and tempos ranging from 64- 123bpm Philly Soul Grooves is an encyclopaedic journey through salsoul, funk and disco taking influence from the kings n queens of the Philly sound from Gamble and Huff to MFSB to Loleatta Holloway. In years following, Tim had the opportunity to live in Nashville, TN where he performed on radio stations in the area with Transoceanic Records artist, Katie Hargrove and numerous original acts in the area. The Sigma Studios building birthplace of the famous Philly Sound has won a spot on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places, protecting the beloved cultural landmark from demolition. Later, in 2016, Tim wrote his first EP of original music with his band, TS & The Cases, which can be heard here.
Tim embarked on a US tour with Matt McAndrew (of NBC’s The Voice, Season 7) as a direct support act for The Plain White T’s on their Guantanamo And Beyond Tour in 2015.
